How does root9 create alert records? You don't. Your monitoring tools send alerts to root9 by email or webhook, and SigOps parses each one, normalizes it, and writes the record itself, with the details and that alert's own history already in place. There are no forms to fill in and no ticket to open. When someone adds a note or acts on an alert, that becomes part of the record too, so the history builds out of the work the team was already doing.

Does root9 have a light mode? Yes. There are four themes, two light and two dark, in a cool tone and a neutral tone. Each person chooses their own from their profile, so it is a personal setting rather than something set for the whole team.
